Kaolin clay is chemically known as hydrated aluminium silicate and structurally unmodified. Water washed kaolin is made by slurring the raw clay and then centrifuging or hydro cloning it to remove impurities. Chemical bleaching is done to improve the brightness of the kaolin before it is then produced into specific grades. Kaolin is platy in structure, hydrophilic and readily water dispersible.

KAOLIN CLAY SKIN BENEFITS
1. Soothing effects
Kaolin clay has been traditionally used in caring, nourishing, and soothing different skin types. It is applied on the skin as a dusting powder or in a wet dressing and left for sometimes until dry then washed out. Kaolin clay works by reducing the production of sebum.
